Having recently taken to learning the concertina, I thought it would be cool to hear it played side by side with the flute. So I recorded meself twice playing the same tunes, then layered the two audio tracks on top of each other. The result is here:

Whistling in the dark: To be confident that something good will happen when it is not at all likely. But also: To play Irish tunes to put my daughter to bed. I'm a thirtysomething schmuck in Boston who bought a tinwhistle a few years ago and discovered a whole musical universe. This blog chronicles my journey learning the art and craft of Irish traditional music. It is about things that I wish I'd read somewhere, but had to discover on my own.
